In 2021, as part of this effort, PPS created Professionals Connect, a purpose-built online platform to provide students, graduates and young professionals with industry-specific information, job opportunities and avenues for professional growth. In collaboration with associates, experienced professionals, corporates and academic institutions, the PPS Foundation aims to empower individuals with the tools and opportunities needed to navigate the challenging job market and foster career advancement in South Africa.

In 2022, the platform experienced an impressive surge in its membership base, with an active engagement of 3 279 users. As graduates and professionals increasingly turn to online solutions and networking platforms, Professionals Connect has become a compelling choice to fulfil their needs. The platform’s comprehensive array of resources for career advancement served as a central hub, resonating with users who

sought a streamlined approach to their professional development journey. With the convenience of accessing industry-specific information, including bursary opportunities, expert advice on professional growth, mentorship programmes, valuable tools and a plethora of networking and career prospects, the appeal has been undeniable. By continuously expanding its offerings and fostering a vibrant community, Professionals Connect is positioned to empower even more individuals in their relentless pursuit of career growth and success.
