Johannesburg, Xx June 2019 – South Africa’s “Toughest Race on Tar” is back, the annual PPS Panorama Tour for cyclists in teams of two takes place in Mpumalanga from 15 to 18 June. The four-day popular cycle race covers a total of 320km of tough terrain which includes 6 400m of ascent via the legendary mountains of Mpumalanga including Kaapmuiden and Spitzkop and parts of the Long Tom Pass.

PPS, the financial services company which focuses exclusively on providing intelligent financial products and solutions to graduate professionals, is proud to extend its headline sponsorship for a third consecutive year.

“The PPS Panorama Tour is about defying the odds, and specially designed for individuals who are passionate about cycling and like to work as a team to achieve a common goal. This speaks directly to the ethos of mutuality that PPS operates under,” says Ayanda Seboni, Executive: PPS Brand, Marketing & Communications.  “The concept of mutuality is mirrored by the PPS Panorama Tour because the race participants ride in teams of two.”

Since its inception 14 years ago, the race has been growing in leaps and bounds every year bringing the joy of stage riding to more cyclists from all walks of life. Building on the 2018 revamped routes, the PPS Panorama Tour this year will take place over three stages, and start and finish each day at Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre, White River.

“At PPS, our key objective is to help our members to realise their life’s aspirations, including sporting ambitions such as the PPS Panorama Tour. Participants can expect the formidable climbs, daring descents and breath-taking scenery that many have come to know and love at the PPS Panorama Tour,” concludes Seboni.

Registration and late entries for participants will take place on 14 June 2019 from 14:00 until 20:00 at Casterbridge.  All riders who enter the event will receive complimentary goody bags and riders who complete the race will receive medals at the end of each day.

Participants will be required to carry their valid Cycling South Africa license or proof of provincial affiliation at the registration desk. If they don’t have a license, they will be able to purchase one at the registration venue. For more information visit www.panoramatour.co.za
